The walls and floor are made of 100% refined Himalayan and Polish Salt, creating purified salt enriched oxygen for the client. This allows the lungs to not only intake anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory air, but it also does so more efficiently due to the expansion of the airways. You will notice less congestion and less pressure in the airways immediately. The negative ion particles also help balance the skin by promoting healthy skin cell turnover, further reducing overall inflammation, and providing elasticity and youthfulness to the skin.
What do I wear?
Whatever you are most comfortable in! We recommend typical workout attire: loose fitted clothing and easy to take off shoes as no shoes are allowed in our Salt Cave and Salt Rooms. Tops and bottoms are required (no bathing suits or sports bras allowed). Lockers are provided if you wish to change at our facility. We also highly recommend leaving any skin ailments uncovered in order to receive the full benefits of the Himalayan Salt.
Is Salt Therapy Safe for Children?
Of course! Salt Therapy has been proven completely safe and beneficial for children of all ages. It is especially recommended for children who suffer from allergies, asthma, eczema, and other chronic illnesses. How many sessions does a person need?
The amount of sessions needed to obtain varies from person to person. Many people see and feel a small difference just after one session, but we highly recommend coming in regularly to achieve optimal results. Coming in 2-3 times a week will provide the best and longest-lasting results, especially for those with chronic ailments. Are there any side effects?
There have been no reported negative side effects thus far from Salt Therapy. A common result of regular sessions is a slight throat tickle or postnasal drip sensation caused by the mucus being expelled from the body and is completely normal. These often subside within a few days and result in better breathing. You can speed this process up by gargling with warm water. Do you need to stop taking prescribed medication while receiving Salt Therapy?

What will my experience be like in the Salt Room or Cave?
Once you enter the doors, you will immediately feel a sense of peace and serenity from the beautiful surroundings of the salt and water features. As you sit back and relax to begin your session, the lights will be dimmed, and we recommend taking 3-5 deep breaths to calm the mind and body.
